I have had this disc in my possession for less than 24 hours, and I can’t count how many times I have listened to it! I am amazed… I am addicted. This debut E.P from Central Coast outfit After The Fall has landed rave reviews from far abroad, and I can now see why!
‘As Far As Thoughts Can Reach’ delivers the energy on this disc just as well, if not better live then they do on the recording. Their live set is a lot more intense, and after seeing the band last night, I knew I had to get a hold of their recording. This six track E.P is filled with creative guitar hooks, bass lines, bridges, and rhythms.
The band were recently signed to Sydney based hardcore label Resist Records who have been renowned for signing hardcore outfits. I can see now why the label have snapped up this fresh young pop rock act.
Their Guitar-oriented, mid-tempo rock is over laced with emotional lyrics/vocals and underlying punk soundings that give the natural, original feel.
Nice work boys and it lands a 4 out of 5 stars
